GibbstownHeating.com is an information and referral website. It connects callers with independent heating and cooling contractors. It does not perform, supervise or sell any heating or cooling work or equipment.
General information only
Pages describe common faults and how technicians usually approach them. That is general information about equipment, not a diagnosis of yours. Only a qualified technician at the house can say what a particular furnace, boiler, heat pump or air conditioner needs.
The contractor's terms
The contractor you reach is a separate business. Its estimate, scope of work, payment terms, cancellation terms and any warranty make up the agreement for the job. This site is not a party to that agreement and cannot change it. Read it before you sign, and keep a copy.
Visits and charges
Contractors usually charge for a diagnostic visit, separately from any repair that follows, and their policies differ on whether that charge is credited. Ask when the visit is booked. This site publishes no prices of any kind.
Availability
Whether a contractor is available depends on which companies are taking calls in a ZIP code at a given time. Nothing here promises a visit within any time frame.
License and insurance
It is the homeowner's responsibility to verify that a hired contractor holds the license and insurance the work requires. Ask for the New Jersey license number and look it up before work starts.
No warranty of work
This site does not warrant or guarantee work performed by any contractor reached through it.
